Truffle Hummus
A delicious twist on the Middle Eastern classic. This creamy, flavourful hummus blends chickpeas and tahini with a luxurious black truffle infusion, creating an irresistible dip with a rich, earthy depth—perfect for elevating starter or aperitif.
Ingredients for 4 people:
750g canned chickpeas, drained
1 medium garlic cloves
3 tbsp TRUFFORE Truffoil - Black Truffle Condiment made with Italian Extra Virgin
2 tbsp tahini
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Truffle Salt to taste
Optional: reserved liquid from the can
2 tbsp TRUFFORE Salsa Truffina - Black Truffle and Champignon Mushroom Coarse Paste
Shaved fresh seasonal truffle for garnish and extra flavour
Drain & Rinse:
Drain and rinse the chickpeas thoroughly.Blend:
In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, garlic, Truffoil condiment, lemon juice, tahini, and salt. Blend until smooth and creamy. Add a little reserved can liquid if needed to reach your desired consistency.Add Truffle:
Stir in the Salsa Truffina and you can garnish with freshly shaved seasonal truffle.Serve:
